Join our live online training designed specifically for Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Credentialed Prevention Professional (CPP) and Credentialed Prevention Specialist (CPS). This interactive session offers practical tools, real-world scenarios, and expert guidance to enhance your skills and support your clients more effectively—all from the comfort of your own space. Course approved by the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). 

Requirements: Participants must have access to the Internet, a device with audio and video capabilities (computer, smartphone, tablet, etc.), accessible phone number, and an email address. To receive a certificate, attendees must be on camera and successfully complete a short quiz. RECHECK ALL forms for accuracy. Each online learner is responsible for providing their correct information (first name, last name, license number, address, etc.). No information on certificates will not be substituted by staff. Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to confirm your connection, audio settings, and readiness.

Credits: This training provides approved contact hours for continuing education for CASAC, CPP, CPS.

• CASAC must complete a minimum of 60 clock hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) every 3 years to renew your credential.
• CPP and CPS must complete a minimum of 60 clock hours of continuing professional education every 3 years.
• Gambling Specialty Designation must complete an additional 10 clock hours of problem gambling education.

Schedule: Live trainings are offered on the 3^rd Thursday and/or last Saturday of each month to fit busy weekend schedules. Each month features a new, timely topic designed to strengthen core skills, address emerging challenges, and meet CEU requirements for social workers.

Upon successfully completing your live course, the participant will be issued a Certificate of Completion immediately online. Download and keep it for your records as required.

Requested refunds are subject to a $20 refund fee. No refunds will be issued for registration less than 7 days before training.  We reserve the right to cancel training sessions or modify scheduled topics at our discretion.
