Iowa law states “A licensee who is a barber instructor shall obtain four hours in teaching methodology in addition to meeting all continuing education requirements for renewal of the barber license.” This Teaching Methodologies for Iowa Barber Instructors is a 4-hour training (4 contact hours). To satisfactorily complete this training, learners must score 14 out of 20 questions correct or 70% on the post-quiz/exam in order to get a certificate.
